758,054. Mixing fluids in flow in proportionate quantities. RIEDERER, H. May 7, 1954, No. 13386/54. Class 86. In a device for delivering either water or soap solution, particularly for washing vehicles, a mixer casing 1<SP>1</SP> which can be connected to a water tap by a union 2, is provided with a central longitudinal opening 4<SP>1</SP> and with several longitudinal openings 15 surrounding the opening 4<SP>1</SP>, and a rotary valve 16 is provided across the openings 4<SP>1</SP>, 15 which valve in one position allows water to flow only through the openings 15 so that water only is delivered from the outlet end 2<SP>1</SP> of the device, and in another position allows water to flow only through the central opening 4<SP>1</SP>, which communicates with an air inlet 32 and with a container 20 of soap solution in such a manner that the water flowing therethrough sucks in air and soap solution so as to leave the outlet end 2<SP>1</SP> of the device as foam. The air and soap solution inlets contain one way check valves 26, 28. A setting valve 29 allows adjustment of the quantity of soap solution sucked into the water stream. The end 2<SP>1</SP> is threaded for attachment of a hose.
