Abstract

650,368. Cleaning pipes. MURLEY, G. C. Nov. 8, 1948, No. 28936. [Class 99(ii)] Apparatus for cleaning beer-delivery pipes &c. comprises a container 5 for the cleaning liquid, which has an inlet pipe 4 for compresssed gas, a regulating valve 7 in the pipe, an outlet pipe 8 which connects the lower part of the container to the pipes to be cleaned and has a non- return valve 9, and a pipe with a regulating valve 10, connecting the pipes 4, 8 so that gas from a bottle 1 may only pass into pipe 4, only direct to the pipes to be cleaned or to both simultaneously according to the setting of the valves. The outlet pipe 8 may be connected to a beer delivery pipe 12 or an adaptor 13 which is connected to a number of beer pipes.
