Abstract
1,006,708. Mixing liquids in flow. P. A. O. NORTHEY. Nov. 3, 1961, No. 39411/61. Heading B1C. Apparatus for supplying a small proportion of an additive to a flow of water comprises a pump which draws into the mixing chamber 1 water from a well through a pipe 2 and additives from a tank through a pipe 5, the inlet orifices 11, 13 being dimensioned to admit the liquids in the desired proportion. The flow of additives may be adjusted by means of the needle valve 17 and the inlet and outlet pipes 2, 6 may have non-return valves 14, 15. The mixing chamber may be a glass cylinder 8.
