[Class 135] [Also in Group XXVI] A centrifugal pump for dispensing liquids in bulk, primed by an ejector connecting the inlet and outlet of the pump, has a discharge conduit with a valve which is normally closed but is opened by the pressure caused by the substantial elimination of air or vapour from the suction side of the pump. The ejector jet may be regulated either by connecting the jet 182 and tube 186 to valve 208 to move therewith against a valve fixed to the casing, or by providing the jet 182 with a valve 228 carried by the differential valve 208.
