[Class 110 (ii)] The pump, which is of the type described in Specification 592,432, has two passages 17, 16 leading to the delivery pipe 4, so that liquid is not left at the bottom of the casing 1. Air and gases, which separate out, pass through the passage 17. Instead of a deflector plate 16 being used, the passage 16 may be outside the casing. In a modification, the pump is submerged in liquid inside a tank.
