Abstract

490,746. Sterilizing air. COLLINS, W. Feb. 16, 1937, No. 4638. [Class 81 (i)] [Also in Group XII] Air sterilizing or fumigating apparatus adapted for use with a vacuum cleaner or with a small suction or pressure pump comprises a closed liquid container 1 with a filling orifice 2, one or more air inlets 4 depending below the liquid surface, an air outlet 5, and means for attaching the suction or pressure generating apparatus to the outlet or inlet respectively. The container may be located within a portable cabinet 6 also enclosing a suction pump 10 from which it is soundinsulated by a block 11. Baffles may be used to create turbulence of the air or prevent escape of liquid. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specifications 1,876,465, 1,908,030, and 2,031,164, and British Specifications 1695 /14, 307,707, [both in Class 8 (i)], 356,985, and 372,426.
