Abstract

342,185. Vacuum cleaners. CLARKE, A. A., Cornell Street, Roosevelt Park, Muskegon, Michigan, U.S.A. March 11, 1930, No. 7926. [Class 8 (i).] A vacuum cleaner is provided with a fumigating or disinfecting device, consisting of a chamber 17, for containing the disinfectant, mounted on the suction side of the fan. The chamber 17, which has a perforated screen 19 at one end and is open to the air at the other, may be either integral with the casing 12 or a separate unit, provided with a threaded nozzle for attachment thereto.
