A blower attachment for a vacuum cleaner having a discharge outlet in the form of an elongated slot 12 extending partially or wholly round the body, comprises a flexible band 14 adapted to be fastened around the body over the slot 12 and a nozzle 19 clamped by the band 14 over the slot 12.
