591,076. Rotary pumps. MICAFIL, Ltd. April 26, 1945, No. 10544. Convention date, April 27, 1944. [Class 110 (ii)] A rotary vacuum pump, of the outwardlysliding vane type, is submerged in oil and has two delivery pipes k, n, the former having its outlet placed above the level c of the oil. Sealing oil enters through the pipe n, its cover being a loose fit. A valve may be fitted on the outlet to pipe k and may close automatically after a predetermined vacuum has been reached in the inlet pipe i. A cover b, to the container a, may be dispensed with.
