Abstract

888,387. Spray-producers. HOYT, A. J. Oct. 23, 1959 [Nov. 4, 1958], No. 35419/58. Class 69 (3). Water is fed through a hose 12, Fig. 1 handle 9 and valve 8 to the inlet 6, Fig. 2, of a cylindrical body 1, and in flowing through a passage 2 draws liquid insecticide &c. into the passage from a receptacle 20 and via hose 19 and jet element 18, and the mixture on leaving the passage 2 strikes an inclined surface 15 and is sprayed. A part 24 of the element 18 protrudes into the passage, and the lower end of the hose 19 is attached to a cylindrical weight 26 with liquid inlet slots 32, Fig. 5, and a strainer 31.
