Abstract

797,273. Nozzles. WALKER CROSWELLER & CO., Ltd. Nov. 28,1955 [Aug. 28, 1954; Oct. 1, 1955], Nos. 25047/54 and 27996/55. Class 69 (3). Liquid fed to the inlet end 5 of a nozzle body 1 passes through a duct 8 and radial passages 9 in a plug 7 integral with a cup-shaped member 2 and strikes the inner wall of the member 2 before passing through a spray plate 3. The member and plate are detachably secured to the nozzle body by a collar 4. In Fig. 3, the plug 13 screws into a partition 11 integral with the nozzle body, and a spray plate may be provided as in Fig. 1.
