Abstract

827,309. Spray-producers. HEIZMOTOREN G.m.b.H. Dec. 10, 1956 [Dec. 10, 1955], No. 37681/56. Class 69 (3). An open-ended tube 10 is supplied with liquid by a pipe 13 and supported by plates 17 within a tube 18, 19 through which air is fed. Some of the air flows through the tube 10 and a vortex 16 is created by vanes 15 on the liquid pipe whereby liquid is drawn from the pipe and thrown on to the inner wall of the tube 10. This liquid flows as a film to the edge 12 and is broken up by the air flowing between the tubes and past that edge. The plates 17 may impose a counter-rotation of air. The parts 10, 17 and 18 are detachable from the parts 13, 15 and 19.
