Abstract
736,210. Spray-producers. SEBAC NOUVELLS SOC. ANON. Aug. 25, 1953 [Aug. 25, 1952], No. 21282/52. Class 69 (3). A wing or vane 1 of symmetrical profile is mounted within walls 2 secured to a conduit 10 and through which a gas stream is passed, and liquid is fed in opposing directions through ducts 7 in the vane via tubes 9, 8. A triangular opening 5 in the vane provides a space for the collision of the liquid jets from the ducts 7, and the liquid is further atomized by the gas stream. The vane may be disposed in a converging throat of a nozzle, or a number of vanes may be arranged as shown in Fig. 6.
