Abstract

753,004. Spray-producers. BOWEN, J. A. Dec. 3, 1954, No. 35116/54. Addition to 689,547. Class 69 (3). Liquid fed under pressure through a conduit 2 into a cylindrical chamber 1 flows from a number of flexible outlet tubes 5 secured to nipples 3. The reaction of the jet from each tube gyrates the tube to distribute the liquid. A flange 8 attached to the chamber enables the device to be secured to the ground. Alternatively the chamber comprises a tube which may be in 'the form of a ring and forming an extension of the supply conduit. This tube may be of rubber to which the flexible outlet tubes are directly vulcanized. The outlet end of each flexible tube may include an insert to break up the jet and to influence the direction of the gyrations.
