Abstract

Direct l i q u i d pressure apparatus. - Apparatus f o r spraying a mixture, o f chemicals b y the fluid pressure of one of them is shown applied for use with an insecticide and embodies a container e formed of a rigid cylindrical part A and a collapsible part R formed of fluidproof material. The two parts are held by a clamping flange F formed on a rigid casing G w h i c h surrounds the part R. Water entering by a port T forces the insecticide from the container c through a pipe L and passes by a pipe I which may form a handle into the tube o where it mixes with the insecticide and is sprayed by the nozzle P. A rod U with a crank U<1> is supported in bearings and carries a pointer S. A cord V connects the crank and the movable part of the container and is of such a length as to turn the pointer when the sack R is doubled into the part A. Regulating devices are fitted to the pipes I, L and, in a modification, the pipe I enters the tube o without passing through the part A.
