Apparatus for the impregnation of wood by the injection of liquid through a nozzle screwed into a bore-hole comprises a tank A with a piston 4 controlled by a spring 3 and a pipe 6 formed as an outlet cock to which screw-in nozzles 11 are connected by detachable flexible hoses 10 and distributer 8. The space 5 is charged with liquid via the pipe 6 from a pressure plant. The tank may comprise an open-ended cylinder on which is mounted a transverse stirrup to support the rear end of the spring.
