A gas nozzle comprises a body 1 having an end face formed with a central outlet aperture 5 surrounded by a plurality of other outlet apertures 6, a nozzle member 3 screwed into the body 1 having a central duct 7 terminating in a front face 4, the member 3 being axially displaceable in the body 1 so that the face 4 closes the apertures 6, the duct 7 being always in communication with the aperture 5. Axial movement of the member 3 out of the body 1 is limited by a split pin 8.
