Abstract

992,205. Gas burners. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. Feb. 6, 1964 [Feb. 8, 1963], No. 5062/64. Heading F4T. In an ignition burner comprising a burner member 14 having a gas outlet orifice 20 and concentrically arranged within a burner cup 13 to form therewith an annular gap supplied with gas/air mixture by radial channels 21, the annular gap is divided into several compartments by longitudinal ribs 14<SP>1</SP> on the burner member 14. The latter may have a square cross-section with the ribs at the corners. The ribs may extend over the conical end of the burner member 14. The gas supply is throttled by an apertured plug 16. Air is supplied by radial openings 17.
