[Also in Division F4] A gas turbine combustion chamber 10 is supplied with air through openings 15 and also through a swirler 13 supported in a conical flare member 12, and with fuel through nozzle 14 and pipe 19 such that the fuel/air mixture follows a toroidal path 16. Mixture leaves the toroid at 17 and is ignited by plug 18 energized 80 times per minute. An air jacket casing 11 surrounds the chamber 10.
