Abstract

1,197,998. Burners. MAX WEISHAUPT G.m.b.H. 12 Sept., 1967 [28 Sept., 1966], No. 41644/67. Heading F4T. The nozzle head of a pressure atomizing liquid fuel burner having an air swirler 4 with central aperture 5 and radial slots 6 of scoop shape, is surrounded by a pipe 11 connected to a gas supply pipe 13, a perforated disc 14 being mounted between the head and the pipe. The swirler 4 is axially movable and can be moved close to or in contact with pipe 11 so that town gas can be burned without back-firing.
