Abstract

1,072,700. Gas burners. NORTH EASTERN GAS BOARD. April 6, 1966 [Jan. 9, 1965], No. 1077/65. Headings F4F and F4T. A gas-fired burner includes an outer air tube and an inner gas tube 16 spaced therefrom to form an annular passage 17, the inner tube 16 carrying a burner head 18 and an ignition device in the form of a spark plug probe 24 and the air nozzle outlets 21 being convergent and the gas outlets (20) divergent. The tube 15 carries radial fins 31 forming with the burner a recuperator and an ejector chamber 32x for combustion products communicates with a flue 32 and has an air jet ejector 33 fed by air admitted to the body 1 of the burner for admission to passage 17.
