Abstract

The device is particularly for generating a controlled atmosphere in an enclosed space, or for drawing in particles in suspension in the hot gases. It comprises a burner with an enclosed flame, on the axis of which a venturi (20, 21) is mounted. A jet of combustion gas is ejected at high speed by the burner, whose tip is near the venturi inlet, and so induces the gases adjacent to flow with it and form a mixture of hot gases at the venturi outlet. The axial positions of burner and venturi in relation to each other can be adjustable.
