Abstract
1338973 Liquid fuel burners W BRODLIN 20 Sept 1972 [21 Sept 1971] 43609/72 Addition to 1328216 Heading F4T A liquid fuel burner comprises an air supply tube 2 which converges towards its outlet 4, an oil supply nozzle 6 positioned along the axis of the tube 2, an apertured distributer 8 and an annular member 13 located downstream of the outlet 4 and between the outlet 4 and distributer 8, the member 13 effecting concentration of the air jet issuing from tube 2. The member 13 may be axially adjustable with respect to the outlet 4. The distributer 8 which is part spherical, is adjustably carried by a rod 9 and may have its curved surface facing outlet 4 as shown, or turned away from outlet 4 in which case it is provided with a convex recess in the region 11 which is directed towards the inside of the distributer.
