Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a constant and steady burning, by fully corresponding to load flactuation of a burner in such a manner as maintains a large turn down ratio of a device which disperses and burns fuel sprayed by the use of a revolving force of burning air.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel is injected from a burner tip 2 of a burner point 1, and burning air A is fed to a combustion chamber after being given a revolving force by means of a swirler 3. This causes the fuel to be given the revolving force and to be dispersed and burned in the combustion chamber. In the burner unit consituted in such a manner as described above, a wind box 7 located around a burner 1 is divided by a partition 10 into a burning air passage 11 and an exhaust gas passage 12, and is constituted so that exhaust gas G, other gas containing less oxygen or gas containing no oxygen at all will be fed into the exhaust gas passage. The aforesaid exhaust gas G covers the burning air A to form a cocentric circular laminar flow, and is flown between the swirler 3 and a burner throat 4.
