Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the burner device that can inhibit NOx without increasing the quantity of oxygen remaining in exhaust gas and soot and without needing facilities, such as, exclusive fan and duct and the like.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel is radially atomized at a fixed angle θ to a center line of a burner atomizer 1 from a fuel injection port 2 of the burner atomizer 1. Meanwhile, air 10 for combustion is sent in passing through expanded opening portions 14 and narrow clearance portions 15. The fuel jetted toward the expanded opening portions 14, among the fuel, is suddenly burnt and short flames F1 are formed because the quantity of air passing through the expanded opening portions 14 is set to the quantity considerably more than the theoretical quantity of air. On the other hand, the fuel injected along baffle plates 3b is slowly burnt by air flows formed by negative pressure regions generated at the downstream regions of the baffle plates 3b, passes through the noses of the baffle plates 3b and reaches the narrow clearance portions 15, and is perfectly burnt by air currents passing through the narrow clearance portions 15, thus forming long flames F2.
