Abstract

1,039,496. Gas burners. DUIKER APPARATENFABRIEK N.V. Jan. 15, 1965 [Jan. 17, 1964], No. 1945/65. Heading F4T. A tubular gas burner comprises a tube 1 (Figures not shown) of oval or flattened round section divided by a longitudinal baffle 9 to form a mixing chamber and a distribution chamber, the mixing chamber being supplied with gas/air mixture by a Venturi 13 which is housed in the mixing chamber. The baffle has round holes 12 for the passage of gas to burner discharge slots 8, the diameters and the spacings of the holes being arranged so that the passage area is greater at the end near the Venturi than at the other end. The part of the burner tube containing the discharge orifices 8 may be removable.
