Abstract

758,274. Spray-producers. ZAVALLONI, B., and VALDUCCI, F. April 28, 1955 [March 5, 1954], No. 6562/54. Class 69 (3). In a liquid spraying machine of the kind including an elongated barrel 5 through which liquid is passed under pressure, and in which the barrel is mounted to swing about a centre adjacent its inlet end to direct the issuing liquid stream over an area, the barrel is provided with a number of elongated fins 1, 2 preventing liquid whirl therein. The fins 1 are about twice the width of the fins 2 and their inner corners at the inlet end are cut away as at 1c. At the barrel outlet end the inner corners of all the fins are cut away as at 1b and 2b. The fins may be in the form of an attachment, with the fins secured to bands 4, 4a. Specification 684,275 is referred to.
