Abstract

690,974. Spray-producers. SWINNEY, D. P., and SWJNNEY BROS., Ltd. June 1, 1951, No. 13066/51. Class 69(iii) A device for laying dust &c. includes a tapered nozzle 1 supplied with air through an inlet 13, and provided at its widest part with a nozzle 11 fed with liquid under pressure from a pipe 9, so that the liquid is delivered into the tapered nozzle in an atomized condition. The nozzle 11 may include a plug 3 having a tangential peripheral groove 3a. A part of the air supplied through a pipe 14, Fig. 2, to the tapered nozzle is fed at 20 to a liquid tank 17, and the liquid is thereby forced through a pipe 16 to the device.
