Apparatus for removing dust from gases comprises a blower arranged within a casing, the impeller of the blower being in two parts 1 and 2 separated by a brush 3 mounted to rotate with the impeller and wetted by liquid supplied through a pipe 10 and nozzles 11 and 12.
