Abstract

277,213. Groves, W. W., (Borne Scrymser Co.). Jan. 5, 1927. Crank-actuated pumps; stroke, varying. - A pump for supplying fibre conditioning fluid from a tank T to a centrifugal comminutor comprises a cylinder 21 with inlet ports 30 and an outlet port 31, and a plunger 23 operated through a pitman 25 by a crank 26. The amount of liquid expelled at each throw is regulated by adjusting the pitman 25 in the head 33 embracing the crank-pin.
