[Class 7 (vi)] Cooling-fluid is supplied at 8 to the interior of a one-piece body 11 inserted in a hollow valve and conforming to the shape thereof, the fluid passing through a bore 13 in the head of the body 11 to the surrounding annular space and finding an exit at 20, or at 17, 18. After the insertion of the body 11, a closing plate 19 is welded in the head of the valve. The cooling-fluid is supplied through a ball cup 7 and ball 9 in the actuating rocker.
