Abstract
474,485. Liquid-fuel injectors. AKTIEBOLAGET ATLAS DIESEL. Aug. 26, 1936, No. 23409. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1935. [Class 7 (iii)] To conduct heat from a fuel injector 3, a packing sleeve 6 of soft metal is pressed against a supporting surface on a cooled casing 2, which separates the sleeve from the combustion chamber. The sleeve may have fiat or conical ends and may be pressed against a casing 2 having a cooling system independent of that in the cylinder head. The casing may be made of material of high heat conductivity, for example an alloy of copper, nickel, or aluminium.
