375,461. Oil engines. HILL DIESEL ENGINE CO., 238, Mill Street, Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Hill, H. D. ; 238, Mill Street, Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A.) April 8, 1931, No. 10394. Convention date, Jan. 19. [Class 7 (iii).] In a compression-ignition engine of the type described in Specification 373,647 fuel is supplied under pressure through a conduit L to a fitting M where the supply is divided to feed an additional injector K, located in a recess F in the cylinder head which recess forms a primary combustion chamber. As injectors J, K are so arranged as to direct their jets along intersecting paths, the springs P of the injectors may be adjusted to vary the quantity of fuel injected by each.
