[Class 78 (i)] Means for transferring powdered, granular, or like materials from a hopper to a receptacle comprises a vertical funnel b having a closed lower end in the side of which is an opening d leading to a shoot e. Within the funnel is a rotating feed worm f which terminates in a radial blade h located opposite the opening d. The worm f may be tapered and may have a scoop i at its top. Specification 368,417 is referred to.
