Abstract

490,788. Delivering measured quantities of granular &c. materials. SCHOOR, M. C. VAN. May 31, 1937, No. 15077. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 10, 1937.] [Class 106 (v)] A container 12 for dispensing measured quantities of granular and like materials is provided with a passage or tube 13 projecting through the bottom 17 of the container to form a delivery spout and at the other end, which is located within a top restricted end space of the container, is provided with an inlet opening 18 adjustable by a rotary sleeve 19 having an opening 21 and operating knob 20. The container may be used for dispensing liquids but in this case the amount delivered cannot be regulated by the sleeve 19 and depends upon the quantity of liquid in the container. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a container, with a tube projecting near its upper end through the side of the container and provided at its lower end with an inlet opening protected by a shield upstanding from the base of the container. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
