497,199. Dispensing measured quantities of liquids or granular materials. COFFEE PRODUCTS CORPORATION. April 27, 1938, No. 12599. Convention date, May 4,1937. [Class 106 (v)] A device for dispensing measured quantities of liquids or granular or like materials from a bottle or container 10 comprises a cylindrical chamber adapted to be attached to the container, a longitudinal partition 20 dividing the upper portion of the chamber into two compartments and a tube 32 communicating with the container 10 and extending past the end of the partition into one of the compartments 24. On inverting the container, the compartment 24 above the tube 32 is filled with the material to be dispensed and after righting the container the separated quantity may be poured out from a spout formed at the end of the other compartment 22 of the chamber.
