Abstract

484,326. Delivering measured quantities of liquids or granular &c. materials. THOMPSON, F. J. W. Dec. 10, 1936, No. 33994. [Class 106 (v)] A container a is provided within its mouth with a removable apertured cup which in conjunction with an imperforate closure b forms a measuring chamber which mav be filled by inverting the container, the cup and its measured contents being removable after removing the closure b. As shown in Fig 1, the cup has a bottom d of finely perforated material or wire gauze. In the form shown in Fig. 3, the cup has a single aperture k surrounded by a wall l. Alternatively a number of smaller apertures, each with a surrounding wall, may be provided.
