Coal slurry supplying means of the kind including a bunker 1 rotatable about an upright axis, a bottom member or table 7 below the bunker rotatable about the same axis and an adjustable plough 139, comprises two annular tracks 41 arranged to support the weight of the bunker, and 42 arranged to afford lateral support to the bunker. As shown, motor 16 drives table 7 through gear 19, and the slurry fed into the bunker 1 is peeled off by plough 139 to fall on to conveyer 169, a sweep being secured to the table so as to assist the discharge of the material. A water jacket is provided at 204 to prevent escape of fumes.
