Abstract
412,008. Conveyers ; trimming and spreading apparatus. LUBECKER MASCHINENBAU GES., 60, Karlstrasse, L³beck, Germany. March 30, 1933, No. 9630. Convention date, April 6, 1932. [Classes 78 (i) and 78 (iv).] In conveyer apparatus of the endless-chain scoop type for discharging material g from a bunker or other dump a, the scoops f are formed of scraper-like construction devoid of a base in order that the conveyer may alternatively function as a distributer of the material to increase the capacity of the bunker. The scoops f carry the material up a channel h, and in discharging the material falls through a hopper l to a receptacle k. When distribution only is to be effected, however, a pivoted flap m is raised to close the hopper l, and the material returns to the bunker down a shoot i. Specifications 327,537, [CLass 78 (iv)], and 380,463 are referred to.
