[Class 78 (i)] In apparatus for feeding different materials in proportionate quantities to a mixing machine and comprising a screw of varying capacity working beneath the compartments of a bin, the screw 1 tapers uniformly and rides in a depression 5 in the bottom of the hopper, the wall of the depression fitting closely to the worm. In modified forms the taper and pitch of the worm may both vary. Specifications 435,215, [Group II], and 473,564 are referred to.
