646,032. Delivering material from hoppers. JOHNSON CO., C. S. July 24, 1947, No. 19946. Convention date, Nov. 9, 1938. [Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group XVIII] In an automatic feed weigher a hopper 10 is discharged through a rotary gate 33 into a screw conveyer 23 which delivers material to a weighing receptacle 11. After a predetermined weight of material has been delivered the gate is automatically closed by a pneumatic actuator 36 which is connected with a crank 35 on the gate by a connecting rod 34.
