830,331. Weighing apparatus. CHARROLL Ltd. May 17, 1957 [March 16, 1956], No. 8253/56. Class 143 Coal from a conveyer 1 passes through screens 4, 5 to hoppers 6, 8, 10 which respectively receive coal of large, medium and small size, and which consecutively feed a weighing receptacle 14 through conveyers, each of which is automatically stopped by the weighing mechanism when a predetermined weight of the associated size coal has been delivered to the receptacle. Hopper 6 feeds the receptacle. through an endless conveyer 12, and hoppers 8, 10 feed through vibratory shoots 18 and endless conveyers 22, 23.
