Abstract

727,326. Endless conveyers. THOMPSON, J. W., and THOMPSON, J. K. July 13, 1953 [June 17, 1952], No. 15176/52. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group II] Sweets are fed from a hopper 2 to a packaging apparatus by fingers 12 resiliently pivoted on an endless chain conveyer 9. Each finger 12 may be adjustable and resiliently held by a spring 13 which may be secured to the finger by a chain or may be weighted. The fingers yield to the weight of articles in the lower part of the hopper but pick up one or more near the top.
