Abstract

717,723. Endless-belt conveyers; rotary conveyers. VICARS, Ltd., T. & T., NAYLOR, J. F., and TUNSTALL, W. H. May 26, 1953, [June 3, 1952.] No. 13900/52. Class 78 (1). A rotary table 3 for transferring laminar articles, such as biscuits, from a conveyer i to a conveyer 2 comprises a plurality of upstanding concentric flanges 10 which are carried by a series of radial arms 12. The articles are transferred to the conveyer 2 by fingers 13 which extend into the space between the flanges and are mounted on a member 14 so as to be adjustable angularly. The member 14 is spring supported on the frame of the machine and is adjusted angularly by a screw 16. It carries a bar 17 over which the endless conveyer 2 is lapped.
