900,063. Conveyers for block-like articles. DORSTENER EISENGIESSEREI UND MASCHINENFABRIK A.G. Dec. 13, 1960 (Dec. 14, 1959], No. 42863/60. Addition to 857,757 and modified by 900,062. Class 78 (1). The apparatus described in the parent Specification and modified in the parent Specification is further modified in that, instead of moving the receiving conveyer 7 in a short step between deposition of the first pair of blocks 3 in positions corresponding to the positions II and deposition of the second pair of blocks in positions corresponding to the positions III, the carrier 1 for the grippers 32/33 is provided with a pusher 4 adapted to push the second pair of blocks into alignment with the first pair of blocks during movement of the carrier to transfer a further first pair of blocks to the conveyer 7. The pusher 4 is carried by an arm 5 pivoted at 6 to brackets 10 carried by rods 11, slidable in the carrier 1, a cylinder 9 on the carrier having its pistonrod 8 pivotally connected to the arm 5 and being operated during forward movement of the carrier 1 to maintain the pusher vertical, whilst during the return of the carrier 1 and the forward movement during which the second pair of blocks is transferred the cylinder 9 is operated to raise the pusher 4 into the chain-line position.
