Abstract

1,242,892. Vibratory conveyers. BUHLER A.G. GEB. 23 Aug., 1968 [24 Aug., 1967], No. 40513/68. Heading B8A. Batches are weighed in hopper 18 and registered on scale 19 and are dropped successfully into vibrating troughs 16. The trough is vibrated by vibrator 17 and is suspended from fixture 4 by rods 5 and 6 provided with the rubber washers 7 and 8, 14 and 15. Additionally the trough is divided as shown in Fig. 5 into three channels which discharge at 23 and at 25 are conveyed by pneumatic conveyer 26. The trough may be pivoted at A so that with increase weight of material the trough 16 pivots more downwards to increase the regularity of discharge of the material at point 22. The distance between the points A and 22 must be greater than the radius of a cone the maximum height of which is the maximum height of the heaps than forms at A.
