Abstract

1,224,888. Hopper discharge. REDLER CONVEYORS Ltd. 17 July, 1969 [24 July, 1968], No. 35255/68. Heading B8S. Material in hopper 2 is discharged at the bottom thereof between fixed longitudinal plates 3 by bars 6 which are carried by frame 4, resiliently carried at 8 by fixed bin 2, the distance between frame 4 and hopper 2 being adjustable at 11. Each bar 6 carries a vertical fin 7 rigid therewith and is vibrated by vibrator 13 carried by said frame 4. Normally the material in the hopper rests on a bar 6. When vibrator 13 is operated, fins 7 stir the material which is then discharged left and right over the surfaces of each bar 6 down into shoot 12. Flexible skirt 5 closes the gap between frame 4 and hopper 2.
