Abstract

547,914. Hoppers. HOBBS,E.M. March 25, 1941, No. 4008. [Class 78 (i)] A container 1 housing mechanism 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 for uniformly discharging powdered material is fitted with a hopper 13 having a neck of smaller diameter than that of the container. The neck splays outward at 14 to form a cover 15 having a flange 18 taking over the container top edge, and screw bolts 17 engaging slotted lugs 16 retain the hopper in place. A lid 12 closes the hopper. Specifications 210,054, [Class 78 (iv)], and 289,275, [Class 78 (i)], are referred to.
