Powder is fed by screw 1 into hopper 2 and discharged therefrom by screw 7 and screw 6, both fixed upon shaft 5, the screw 7 brushing the walls of hopper 2 so that a predetermined quantity of powder is discharged whenever the shaft is rotated a predetermined number of times.
