717,839. Dust bins and like garbage containers. MOON, P. H., HINDSON, H., and ARCHER, H. C. H. Nov. 24, 1952 [Aug. 22, 1951], No. 19754/51. Class 26 A flat-topped detachable lid 1 for a dust bin or like garbage container 2 comprises a platform 4 rotatable about pivots 5 within an aperture 8 therein and arranged to support an open-topped garbage receptacle 10, so that, on rotation of the platform, the receptacle is inverted to discharge the garbage into the container. The receptacle 'may be slid out from the flanges 9, and may incorporate a removable sieve 11.
